Meter Reading Activity Report

The Meter Reading Activity report provides a chronological log of all historical asset data (such as temperature, PSI, cycles, run hours, etc.), serving as a centralized ledger to audit entries, verify maintenance compliance, and export raw data for trend analysis.

Use this report to:

View a chronological history of raw meter readings for selected assets.
Filter meter readings by asset, site, or reading type.
Review historical meter data to verify accuracy and support compliance requirements.
Export raw meter data for analysis, reporting, or third-party review.

Getting Started

Filters

Filters are located above the main report area. Use them in any order.

Filter	What It Does	Default
Reading Date/Time	Filters meter readings within a specific date and time range. NOTE Refer to Limitations article for date selection.	Last Month
Asset Number	Filters by the unique identifier of the asset.	All
Reading Type	Filters by the type of meter reading (e.g., Hours, Miles, Cycle Count, PSI, etc.).	All

Report Structure

This report details meter reading values for assets, including asset names, numbers, make, model, reading type, and the user who recorded the reading.

Fields

Field	Description
Asset Name	Displays the asset name.
Asset Number	It is a user-visible tracking number entered manually, generated automatically, or left blank. Use this field to search, filter, and identify the asset across the system.
Make	Indicates the manufacturer or brand of the asset.
Model	Specifies the model designation of the asset.
Meter Title	Displays the name of the configured meter.
Reading Type	Indicates the type of meter reading (e.g., miles, hours, temperature, cycle count, pressure, etc.).
Reading Date/Time	Shows when the meter reading was recorded.
Meter Reading Value	Displays the recorded meter value, rounded to two decimal places.
User	Displays the name of the user.

Common Tasks

Review all meter readings for a specific asset, filter by "Asset Number."
Analyze meter activity over a specific period, use the "Reading Date/Time" filter.
